A BUS company has launched six new buses in Hindon, marking further investment into its rural services.
Salisbury Reds boss Andrew Wickham said the firm had listened to passengers who had been very clear about improvements they wanted to see. “These brand new British-built buses will provide comfort, reliability and more seats for those travelling with us,” he said.
The new buses will operate on Hindon and Tisbury area routes.
Andrew Murrison MP attended the launch.
He said: “I was interested to hear their views on the introduction of these smart new buses - and feedback is favourable.
“I look forward to seeing more people take advantage of public transport in Wiltshire – particularly in more rural areas.”
The announcement closely follows the launch of the operator’s new Red 1 fleet.
“We make it our business to listen to the views of those using our buses - and always make efforts to enhance our services wherever we can,” added Mr Wickham.
“I am keen to receive feedback on any aspect of Salisbury Reds - but am particularly looking forward to learning people’s views over the coming weeks about our newly introduced buses.”
