Bristol Airport’s link with Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is set to be strengthened when Dutch airline introduces additional capacity on its four-times daily service.
KLM will increase capacity by more than 12 per cent from the start of the summer schedule by introducing the new Embraer 190 aircraft on two of the four daily flights between Bristol to Amsterdam.
Shaun Browne, aviation director at Bristol Airport, said: “KLM provides a vital service to the South West, connecting businesses and individuals to hundreds of destinations across its global network via Amsterdam.
“The introduction of additional capacity from Bristol demonstrates KLM’s continued commitment to the region.”
KLM launched its fourth daily service from Bristol to Amsterdam in spring 2011.
